analysis What prompted Elon Musk to name its new venture as Terafab, when it appears to be an existing trademark name

Recent announcement of Terafab .Ai by Elon Musk as Tesla , Xai and SpaceX co-venture, and domain acquisition were the highlight of this week, perhaps a news that almost underplayed the US-Iran war for a while. But no one noticed the fact that the name TERAFAB is not a newly coined name as one would have expected. It is apparently a registered trademark of TeraBase.

Terabase had been in the news for their recent field testing and physical deployment and robotics platform.

I believe it has been noticed all right (e.g. by @katerleonid ), but I'm unsure of its importance. Probably no actual overlap/conflict (even though some Nice class number might be the same "catch-all" category), and in any case companies make agreements all the time.
