What makes you guys so sure that .TV will be the next big tld?

You can put video streams on a .com so why would somebody need a .TV extension?

I thank everyone who contributed to this thread. It looks like the overwhelming response is that .tv should succeed.

So are you guys developing your sites or just sitting on them until the market gets hot in hopes a buyer comes along?

With .com you can always throw some relevant text on a vanilla site along with some adsense and you'll probably make a few bucks. With .tv it seems to me like you have to be a developer in order to fully utilize the .tv extension. Am I right about this?

No secret here!! I don't know how to develope. I just used Whypark.com, pointed to there servers and whammo, instant site with my google ads. The sites are nothing special but I'ven been making some money off of clicks.

You can do it with any name. Check out my raw vegan site. WhyPark supplied the text and I added the videos. It could definitely work with .TV.

But, when I think of a .TV name, I think of video with a minimal amount of text, like your Jetsons site (think its yours?). I feel the .com name can be a mix of both. That's just my opinion.
