What kind of IP is this?

need a little advice/help please...

upon reviewing my stats today, i noticed this IP > hn.kd.dhcp

had 20 visits, and this one > 219.153.9.188

same thing 20 visits

IT LOOKS SUSPICIOUS TO ME?

can someone tell me who/what/where they are?

should I block them?

any ideas/suggestions would be appreciated!

LOL, i knew someone was going to say that.

normally, a s.e. bot is easier to recognize.

it just looks odd - keep in mind, i'm no IP/DNS/DOMAIN expert.

i was hoping someone might be able to confirm > who/what/where they are from to put my mind at ease.

hn.kd.dhcp is not an IP address.

219.153.9.188 is a Chinese IP.

inetnum: 219.151.128.0 - 219.153.255.255

it showed as an "IP" in my webalizer stats.

Searching on Google I found that 61.53.65.19 has a reverse address of hn.kd.dhcp (this naming is unusual, I bet is against any RFC naming conventios).

Also a Chinese IP:

inetnum: 61.52.0.0 - 61.53.255.255
netname: CNCGROUP-HA
country: CN
descr: CNCGROUP Henan province network



The IP is listed in more spam lists:

There are millions of IP addresses listed in spam lists.

I guess blocking them one by one is a veeery long journey

Maybe they are bots searching for email addresses, in which case is already too late to block them.
