We have seen many trends come and go, and other niches are evergreen like 3L.com. I was having a couple chats about brandable names and the trend was the people were displeased with a lack of sales/offers for made up words.
So what kind of names are you buying and what are you avoiding?..

What are selling are real one or two word domains. Three words too. Among these, exact match domains of course do well.

I do get offers on my four and five letter domains regularly but mostly the ones with letters only and the ones that contain a real word, or at least contain only a couple or few letters repeating (versus the jumbled random ones).

So, I’d only be interested in acquiring what is selling.

The few made up or misspelled domains that I have - I’d not be interested in acquiring any more of those unless on a hang reg speculation basis.

I usually go for two word (exact keyword) names, preferably .com, however, I have done quite well with .co.uk names this year. Only go for names that are 15 characters or less, and avoid long, mis-spelt or those names that contain numbers or hyphens.

Has anybody had any luck selling .io's? and if so where? auction or end user? and if it was end user did they reach out or have you done outbound for it?

Interesting, I would like to know where you selling .co.uk domains, because I will end this year with 10-12 names wich I want to sale as quick as possible.

Thanks

I've been after good pronounceable 4Ls. Also, would be after 2-word keyword rich domains as well as 5L .coms.

Made-up 5Ls with good pronounceability have a good future I feel.
