I have experienced a very wierd situation other the past few weeks that at first made me extremely happy, but now seems to be a nightmare in disguise..
I have around 1200 domain names registered, and have earlier had them parked at Sedo where I have received between 10 and 25 Euros a month in parking revenue.
About a month ago I received an email from Parked.com, where they invited me to join there parking program. I thought "why not?", and pointed the nameservers of my idle domains to Parked.com's servers. The first weeks I saw no special change in traffic volume.
Then suddenly one day a couple of weeks ago one of my domains (creditmade.com) started to receive enormous amounts of traffic that was converting to clicks in a rate at 75 - 80%. The first day this generated $2800 in revenue!! Amazed as I was I posted a thread at the Parked.com forum where I wrote about this strike of luck I just had received, and got a few replies. One of these replies mentioned that he had expreinced the same and that it could be that someone misquted the domain name on tv or something like that, therefore generating sudden mass traffic that lasted for a little while.
The next day the traffic stopped, just as suddenly as it had started and I rthought to my self that the explantion that was written in this reply in the forum must of been right so that I most likely would not see any more traffic of this amount to the domain. Still I was extremely happy as i had earnbed revenue of 2800 + 1200 dollars in just over 24 hours!! I was just smiling from ear to ear thinking "incredible" !!
Then After another day with not a single hit the traffic suddenly started pouring in again and I was astonished and puzzled. This time the traffic did not stop.. It continued day after day after day until friday the 30. October when the last time I checked the revenue was close to $30000!!!! I went around smiling & feeling like I had won the lottery cause every time I checked my account I had earned a few hundred dollars more. But then, late friday night I tried to log into my Parked.com account just to get the message that my account was suspended. I did not understand why this happened until I checked my email and saw a mail from parked.com referring to that I was in breach with the agreement and my account therefore had been suspended. No other information was given.
I immediately started thinking: "if some thing seems to be too good to be true.... "
I still was not sure if this suspension had something to do with the domain I was receiving these large amounts of traffic on or if there was some other reason. I then sendt an email to my contacts at Parked.com and asked them to help me find out what had happened. Why was my account suddenly suspended? In what way had I breached the agreement? I still have not received any answer, but it has been weekendd so I suppose I will receive more information within this week explaining what has happened.
As the domain now was blocked from Parked.com (along with all my other domain names) I pointed the nameservers back to Sedo's parking service. The traffic continued so I then knew that it at least was not just a bug in Parked.com's reporting services. The traffic was genuinely pounding in on my site.
However between saturday & sunday the traffic suddenly stopped according to the reporting on Sedo. Today I received an email from Sedo explaining that the domain had been blocked from Sedo's parking service based on a breach in the terms of usage of the parking service.
Here is the email I received:
Dear Sedo Member,
Routine traffic audits indicate that the traffic to your parked domain "creditmade.com" is not in accordance with Sedo‘s terms and conditions and does not meet requirements set by our advertising partner.
Our parking program allows only traffic from natural sources, such as type-in traffic, search engine results, or old/expiring links from other websites. Other forms of traffic, whether incentivized, purchased, or created by any artificial means, are not tolerated.
After careful review, and to maintain the integrity of click prices and the quality of Sedo’s parking program, the revenue generated by the domain "creditmade.com" was deleted and the domain was blocked from our parking program.
For further information on why this action was taken, please refer to section 5.3.7. of our Terms of Use, available at:

We appreciate your understanding as we work to provide and preserve high-quality services for the Sedo community.
I then read the section 5.3.7 that was referred to in the email and this section was called:
" Suspicion of "Fake Traffic" and Consequences "
Now I am just totally confused on what I should do.
I registered this domain when it was dropped in february 2009.
Since this it has just been parked at Sedo.com parking service right up until I received the invitation to join Parked.com.
I have not done anything to try to boost the pagerank with backlinks or anything else and I just can not understand where this traffic is comin from, or why it is not accepted as legitimate.
Before my account was suspended at Parked.com I tried to learn more about the source of this traffic through the traffic analysis section at Parked.com and I saw that around 70-80% of the traffic originated from USA, and the rest was spread between europe and asia. I think close to 90% was deemed coming from "Type in or No hostname" as traffic source.
Has anyone else experienced a problem like this?
Is this normal when a domain name suddenly receives a large amount of traffic?
What on earth am I supposed to do now??
I don't even now if I will get my revenue paid out or not.
If anyone knows anything about this kind of situation or has any information that can help me get an understanding of how to resolve this, please reply.
What the last couple of weeks made me think I had hit the jackpot in the seventh heaven, is now seeming to have turned into a great big headache instead..
Thanks in advance for all advice you may have to help me..
