What is the N-N-N value?

There's only 999 of them exist.
And it's 5 character domains.
With all 6N.com without 0 and 4 registered this must have some value, afterall it's only 3 digits there.
Can be really easy to remember like 0-0-7.com, or 4-2-0.com, or 1-8-7.com
What you guys think?

N-N-N.com, from price point of view, are not possible to be considered in the same price range as NNN.com (whose minimum wholesale price, according to 3character.com, is USD 38,500).

These domains are still not well know to domainers, but if they will be known more, its prices shall be closer to 5N.com or between 5N and 6N.com imho.

From another hand, this mask may become exclusive due to low number of such domains available, and may rise in price stronger comparing to 5N.

Also the question, how Chinese market will consider these numeric domains.

For example, if we look at the market for Chinese Premium LLLL.com, domain prices rose within one year 10-20 times, from $50-100 to almost $1,000 nowadays. Just within one year. For 160,000 domains. What price curve will be for N-N-N.com? Difficult to say, lets see.

think you exaggerating here, comparing N-N-N that on 5 characters and easy to remember with too many 8 to counts mixed with some letters.

Anyway, after i posted list of remaining N-N-N with 8, all of them were registered today.
More than 200 gone within a day, thats impressive.
Good example that in someones opinion they do have value and were unregistered just because people forgot about them.

someone may be gambling on such hype, as you have provided, to hopefully "add" value, to a category that really has none.

as one could post a list of random domains in any extension and "somebody" will register some, with similar hopes in mind.

Obviously not every extension will work and not just random domains.

People invest on assumptions, I think few members posted lists of 6N domains few months ago, when they "really had no value" like you say. Guess what? Now all 6N without 0 and 4 are gone and the ones they took with with good patterns are very valuable. Market is changing rapidly and people who can predict which way it goes make more money than late followers. Of course sometimes they wrong and deal with loss, but domaining is risky business, everyone knows, there's no assets that are safe. You may say LLL.com are, but people who bought them in 2008 for 8-10K had to wait 7 years just to break even. And miss all those good investment opportunities..

N-N-N better than random 6N because they had value back in 2007-2010, that gives you more confidence than investing in 6N.

You took few, someone else took few, and now only 180 such unique numeric domains left for hand registering. It was more than twice that amount available on Sunday , and it was possible to be slow and picky back then. Now it looks more like "get what you can before it is too late"...

Is 0 in the first position very bad for the domains? What is less worse, something like 0-9-8.com or something with 4, like 1-8-4.com (both still available for hand reg)?

Personally I think that 1-8-4.com is good combination, based on Fengshui theory that I've seen.
48, 54 and 84 are all good combinations with 4. And domains starting with 1 and 2 are best both for Chinese and Western world.
But somewhere on the forums one Chinese member answered that 84 = neutral, not bad and not good, I take it, since he probably knows better than me.
It can also depend on the dialect: in Mandarin and Cantonese meaning of number 4 are different.
In Cantonese it's not as bad and may be even good, but most Chinese speak Mandarin.
