I agree with everything, but what it's not said is that the trade agreement with Canada it will be just provisionally applied, because it has to ratified by each of the 27 national legislatures and if just one of them will oppose, it will not work fully and the same goes for UK, any agreement will need to be ratified by everybody and with all the animosities, the agreement should give a full list of advantages to each EU country to be ratified...I have the impression that in some regards the new agreement will be even worse than being part of EU.

Guys, let's stop talking politics. Or .EU is strongly connected with it?
I just want to know what do you think - to buy and hold .EU or to stay away?
BTW. The EU will stay. Trust me. I'm political scinetist :)

When checking .EU I have seen many really good 1word domains which are available...
And many - which are priced in 3-figure range or at maximum ~1K EUR...
And nothing impressive in such stats...

So GDP and .EU are 2 different terms... from different galaxies.

And as I already said in another thread: domaining is not so linear as you imagine...

They are from two different galaxies but there are some connections as well....if EU will decide to become more unified and to be a federal state, than .eu will become one of the biggest tlds( at that's because of the big gdp, europeans have lots of money and they can invest)
Also, regarding the fact that you can find some good one words .eu available doesn't say anything, if .eu it's not good for me and you, that doesn't mean that it's not for everybody. I know a guy who owns 19k .org acronyms and deals only in this niche, but you can still find tons available, that doesn't mean you can make money and also I know a guy who is a broker dealing exclusively with .eu and couple of other european cctlds and he's doing great.

Probably because most domainers are from US, India and a few other countries, not so many europeans. But still, there are at least 6 who own over 10k .eu domains each and around 100 with over 1000 .eu domains, ask them if they make any money.

What is average LLL.EU price among these domainers?
    This is the best barometer...

    I don't know, I own just a few .eu domains, I don't have any lll.eu
But the same goes for others, what's the average of a llll.org acronym? You can get them for free, but that guy who own's over 19k it's selling them for over 10 years and he's doing great.

LLL.ORG - up to mid $xxx for resellers...
    Up to $10K for endusers.

I have bought tons for reg fee and you can get them every day, I could not see $xxx for resellers.

    I'm talking about 3L.org and 3L.EU
    Not about 4L.

Yes, but they have more value as 3L than as acronyms. 80% of his portofolio is 4L ORG, the rest is divided between 3l.org and 5L.org. I'm saying that 3L.anything can't be a prove if an extension has value.

It is obvious that you are just making up things about the Irish market and .IE hosting. as you did about .EU usage. You claimed to know more about the Irish market than anyone here and you don't even own any .IE domain names.

In 2010, a survey of 137,122 responding .IE websites and where they were hosted (by IP address) showed that 68.6% of .IE websites were hosted in Ireland, 12.9% were in the US, 11.5% were in the UK, 1.8% in Germany, 1% in Netherlands, 0.9% in France, 0.5% in Luxembourg, 0.5% in Italy, 0.5% in Romania, 0.4% in Australia.

Yes, we are talking about 2018 and iedr, not one of your statistics again...I think that we know how good are your statistics already.

3L value is the best benchmark for any TLD... how it is doing... and all experienced domainers understand that...
Then if you don't know - I can inform you that for .EU it is ~ the same as for .info, plus-minus...

I don't know that, but let me know what the value of 3L.io? I think that you can get them for reg fee or from closeouts, but that doesn't mean that .io has no value.

Those are statistics from an old an IEDR report. Eurid never claimed 60% usage of their domain names. That was just you.

Regfee for .IO and regfee for .EU are 2 different galaxies as well.

    Regarding .IO overall...
No mass demand in this ccTLD... it is considered only by tech endusers... at least of 95% cases...

So you are quoting a report from 8 years ago and you want us to believe that nothing changed. You were saying yesterday that in 2017 was around 75%, but you can prove it. I can't find that EURID report because I didn't saved two days ago and I can't find the iedr report talking about 45%, but when I have more time I will look for them.
