Please discuss where you have been most successful selling your domain names as of lately? Also provide what type of domains, and how they were listed(in auction? BIN? just in a marketplace)...if you want to be specific with names and prices, great we can all benefit from that but if you would rather just say .coms, .net, 4L.com etc thats ok too, the more specific the more we can all learn and benefit and hopefully generate more profit.

Whos selling what?
On GoDaddy?
Sedo?
Flippa?
Namejet?
Uniregistry?
secondary marketplaces...(BrandBucket, Brandpa etc) Domain Agents....

Like i said the more detail you feel comfortable sharing the more we will all benefit.
Sincerely,

I believe Flippa and Namejet are 2 good spots to auction off your domains that get attention from other buyers.

Afternic previously where we sold a domain for $2,200 (listed as Make Offer). We use our own landers now which form part of our online portfolio, and works well.

I personally like NameJet. But of course, it all depends on the quality of your domains. Liquid domains do good on NameJet.

Just pointing out that times change and selling platforms change all the time so posting this question yearly is probly a good idea. flippa was a good place in 2016 now it's junk so...

times do, and have changed,
but one thing has remained the same -

and that is....

there is no best.

there has never been a best,

it's just that, over the years,
some platforms and venues,
have been better than the rest.

back in the day, lots of sales transactions took place on this and other domain forums/webmaster boards, etc.
although not as prolific as before, those type of sales still occur, but are rarely included in aftermarket statistics.

imo....

Looking at the marketplaces I have few in mind which are offering free listing. Such as Sedo.com and DomainBrothers.com

My own sales pages produce the majority of sales. If I could only pick 1 aftermarket to use alongside my own site it would be Afternic as that distribution network is strong and doesn't require you to point your names there in order to make sales.

I would say list your domains on all the major sites, just be consistent in your pricing. I have my domains listed on Afternic, Flippa, and Sedo that way I get maximum exposure. You never know which marketplace a potential buyer will navigate to or originate from.
