I find if you add a "h" and drop the "e" the metode becomes much easier!
On a serious note though, you are best to try every method under the sun as the name of the game (so to speak :gl: ) is about getting your domains in front of as many people as possible

Quick tip to save yourself some grief, wasted money, and screen out potential buyers.

Contact businesses prior to offering to sell them a name. Inform them that you feel their name doesnt capture the essence of what their business stands for. Furthermore, let them know you have something more generic, with some overture, and much more hits on google. When (if) you get a response, search for that name that best describes their business. Email them your name/s, if you hear back great. If you dont hear back within 4-5 days, delete the name and move to the next client.
I know many wont like my response, but it works.

it depends how much time you can spend. The best value you can get is to find the end users, but that require a lot of work. If you don't have the time, then you can just park at sedo or to list at tdnam and patiently waiting for offers.

Wait- you mean contact the business first, then if they're interested, try to think up a name for them - reg/purchase the name after getting a positive response?

This is a nice idea. It's like being a logo designer - only now you're the name designer, or consultant. And for once you'd be regging/buying a name that actually has a pretty high probability of getting sold very soon.

well if so, you still have x amount of days before you can have to delete the domain.
Kinda like my latest domain, Brain Function (dot) net. My cost, hmmm around $6, overtue not bad, google? Hmmm around 3 million or so. Now Im knocking on every brain supplement company in the world's door. And 26 of them are already pre-screened. If I selll, it doesn't matter its an excellent domain.
