Whats the best place to park and sell domains?

Currently Sedo is my favorite, but how could i maximize my potential buyers? What other sites should i list the domain/s at?

Hi Domains4u,

Sedo yes is in my opinion the best place to list domains for sale, not that good if you want to earn click revenue. Giants like Fabulous are the best for that.

My advice is the following, hopefully this will be helpful for others too.

1. put your domains for sale in your signature on all forums you are a member of.

2. Create a website and display all your domains for sale on this and then develop it with directories and engines, also display the link to this is any forum signature. This has a 2 fold effect, gets all your names out and raises the value of the domain it is sitting on.

3. Contact buyers for your domain by looking up keywords and domains that are similar to your own and then contacting them via a very good precise, clean email. I do this via snail mail looks more professional than email.

4. Occassionally i will list a domain on ebay when they are having there cheap list days. For 7 days advertisment on the biggest auction site in the world you couldnt buy better exposure!! remember to set a good reserve. This also has the benefits of showing you how popular the name is.

5. Join other parking programs like afternic, goldkey and list your names there, even if they are not parked people searching for a name will still see yours.

6. Create a free blog on domains and list all your domains on it giving OVT scores etc etc. Remember the cool thing about blogs is millions of people are using them and the more popular the blog site the more traffic you will see, especially if you list your rss feed with top 10 blog sites.

Im new to blogs, but ill research them. Ill definatly get a website to list my domain / domains.

Would it be worth setting up a shopping cart for Direct Sales? Ill make sure i research the site i will buy to maximize value anyway. I dont want something like http://thesearemydomainnames.com i want something i can possibly sell in future.

A few more suggestions which I would like to give you.
1. Submit the URL of your domain name in your portfolio to all the major search engines.
2. Keep the WHOIS information for your domain updated. Be sure to update your WHOIS information to reflect the fact that your domain name is for sale.

You can also park and sell your domain at afternic.com and greatdomains.com

This is exactly how I sell my domains:

Put them in all of my signatures in forums. Then I list them for sale in all the forums I joined and I even join my sometimes to sell. Then I list them on eBay and if they don't go for the price I want I just end the auction. My last resort is Sedo just because they take some of the profit.

I like tdnam. They take a commision from sales but their listing is free. You can list your domain on sedo and tdnam at the same time.
