I have realised that visitors to adult domains need some kind of visual 'help' to click on the pages.

Since Voodoo is the only parking service left that show pics (I used NameDrive before), I have moved all my adult domains there and they perform great.

Just make sure to use colours that fit the niche (I personally use Dusty Rose or Black Metal) and appropriate pics (there are plenty to choose from)

Note that in general, adult domains don't have good EPC unless traffic is fully organic and originates from high CPC countries like US and Germany.

Hypersot, you have parked adult names at Voodoo that bring in $xxx / month????? My highest paying one brings in $00.xx, as oppossed to $00.0x on the others. I would be thrilled at a dollar a month each - thrilled. Did you add a pic or optimize it in someway? I was getting a few thousand uniques on mine before moving them to Voodoo. Was thinking something like 100,000 uniques equals a buck. Any insight would be much appreciated.

For an adult domain to be successful in parking, it needs to have:
1. high CPC country of traffic origin
2. 'hungry' visitors (hehe)

for (1) , you need to do your research prior regging the adult domain

for (2), imo it's a matter of luck. I have an adult domain that brings me daily xx-xxx visitors and no-one clicks lol. Traffic is not bots mind you, it comes from an adult forum where people click on an ad named 'sleep with Monica' (or something like that). Of course there is no monica on the other end, just my parked page... so..

Adult domains in general is a gamble, you could be lucky or not. I have a domain with traffic from india giving me $xxx / month, which is totally unexpected.
After lots of regs, I think you'll manage to roughly guess if an adult domain can be of value or not

Thanks Hypersot for the data. I had a few thousand uniques on several when I had crappy tube feed sites there and not monetized. Good, old names. I decided to try parking it and I tried voodoo. In one month with about 20 domains, my grand total is almost one dollar. I dont buy adult names anymore at all - single word or not. Just would be nice to get reg fees each year - then I would let them just sit. Was thinking of moving them over to another adult parking space but seems click throughs would be better if the page wasnt so crappy. Otherwise, no need to hold the names and will sell them off for costs and move on.

those numbers are not valid anymore for me. Any adult domain that brought $xxx, dropped to $xx (it actually had already dropped on Oct, I just didn't notice)

why do you need the numbers, how can they help you understand the adult niche?
The rules that I've seen working for adult domains are simple,
-visitors need to really looking for something that you can provide in your parked page
-traffic needs to be from high CPC countries (us, canada, germany, uk, nertherlands, etc.) so, every clicks will count.
See that example I posted with traffic from india? said domain has dropped to $xx / month since cpc has dropped drastically for that domain for some reason. On the other hand, another domain I have for dating in Netherlands has brought me -with low traffic- some nice clicks during the same period... adult niche is totally crazy

from my experience, anything else won't work, or if it works it probably won't last very long
