My intent is obviously to sell it to the trademark owner. But what if I register a domain name for a trademark that is established but without a website?

Dont do that , TM holder has the upper hand whether he has the domain & website in place or not.
If you had bought the domain before he registered the trademark ,then the scenario is different.
This is called BAD FAITH in terms of UDRP case , as you bought the domain to sell it to the TM holder.
So don't waste time & money to end up surrendering the domain to the TM holder
Thank you guys. I know about domain flipping for more than 8 yrs but never sold a domain even though I tried before. Now I wish to sell a couple of domains I kept all those years if I ever could.
