What does this status mean?

I purchased a .in domain from ENOM and I notice the following words when I look up my WHOIS.
status: clientTransferProhibited
serverTransferProhibited:realtime

Am I going to have a problem when I sell my domain?

Locked?

OK so does that mean I cannot sell it then?
Does it mean that I must remain the owner until it expires?
Do I have a problem if I try to sell?

pushing it to another enom user will not be a problem if you unlock it

what domain are we talking about so i can better specify a solution?
just pm to me
or use this tool: http://whois.sc
better shows the status of domain

better contact enom support to rectify the problem, they are the only ones who can removed that status for you:
clientTransferProhibited
The clientTransferProhibited status may be added to an object by either the registrar who owns the object or the registry administrator. If an object is on clientTransferProhibited, it may not be transferred until the status is removed.

serverTransferProhibited
The serverTransferProhibited is the same as the clientTransferProhibited status, except that only the registry administrator may add or remove this status from the object. If an object is on clientTransferProhibited, it may not be transferred until the status is removed.

Ok but will it be a problem if the buyer is not with ENOM???
Does it mean I can only sell to someone who is with ENOM?

it usually happens when a domain is (1) nearing an expiry date (2) the payment has not yet been paid for and you're dealing with only a domain reseller of enom not enom itself. (3) other tlds such as : .org, .biz, .info, .name

Thanx for your help so far. The domain in question is RAJAH.IN and yes I registered with ENOM themselves and that was 3 days ago. I paid by credit card and the sale has gone through.

Ps. How does one get rid of this annoying sliding bar that goes right through the text of the posting in the upper left hand corner here?

it depends on what browser you're using.

I,m using the latest FIREFOX browser on my G5 intel MAC

So regarding my domain.. I take it then that I can sell only to someone who is also with ENOM. If someone from somewhere else wants to buy I cannot sell?

i can't tell much on that .in extensions i don't have experience with them yet. but as for the other .tld ext i can say yes.

it's on sedo? they will handle the sales for you, since it's a new domain, just give it a couple of more days for that status to be removed and changed to active after that if it doesn't change contact enom support regarding that status, only they can change that status for you.

for the meantime it's locked to the registrar

i can't login to enom.com it's currently down:

I use enom and what that message means is that your domain name is locled and if a transfer was put in it will not be transferred. you will have to log in to your account and uncheck the box that says lock domain. and then it can be transferred. to anyone.
