Guys, I need your help to fully understand what potential buyer meant by this:

I sent him an email, he replied with "What is your asking price", I sent him a price and then he wrote: "How can you legitimize this sale so we can proceed".

Prove you own the domain and escrow so he doesn't end up paying for the domain and not getting it? Goodluck

I would simply ask him what he means. He may want you to prove you own the domain. He may be running an appraisal scam (to "legitimize" the price). He may want to confirm your identity. It may be something else entirely. Best way to avoid trouble is to just ask him. Unless the buyer is a member of NP, nobody here can give you the correct answer.
