i just thought it sounded cool as an actual pronouncable LLLLL compared to alot of random letters i see- then i did some looking around-

"voib" pulls 8 million google results

it seems to also be some foreign word, but i cant tell what- and i saw it referenced also briefly as voice over internet blog- which looks like adding a voice to your blog- could be a future thing, who knows...
and saw it referenced as a VOIB Instant CD SCSI CDRom Device.
