Sounds like an obvious question but I'd love to here a detailed answer to it. Everybody talks about developing a domain but how do you go about? Assume that I know the basics of designing a site and understand things like the need for backlinks and quality content. But what process do you adopt to develop a domain? Are there certain tried and tested steps you take?

I have one tip. Everyone loves beauty. Make sure your site is eye-pleasing to the general masses. Matching colours, crisp fonts, related photos and graphics.

The simple answer is that you actually put some relevant content on the site instead of just parking the domain name.

This "content" can mean anything from just putting a couple of paragraphs of information on a single page to creating hundred of pages of information.
