domain What can I think about Estibot-Appraisal?

Hello,

I have 11 domains that are worth USD 14000 in summary says estibot. But I have seen in selling-section that the domains doesnt sell to that prices. At least on Namepros. So is there a general guideline to handle this estimates? Maybe 1500 USD from Estibot would sell for 300 USD for a broker and 500 USD for a end-user? Something like that?

Estibot is a great tool when used properly.

It provides a one-stop solution to many domain metrics. As far as price, in most cases you can multiply by .10 and be pretty safe. In general, price expectations for most sellers is wildly overblown.

Better to have low expectations and be pleasantly surprised, than to think a domain is worth a fortune and hold out forever paying reg fees. If you hand register a domain, it's worth no more than reg fee 99% (or more) of the time.

So I wasnt too bad by saying around USD 300 to a interested buyer where the estibot said USD 1800... Hope he will buy... Would be my first sell...

I think so too. Some people are trying to sell strange domains to such a high price I dont know how they can believe in. But I know of some appraisaltools that result in really wrong and much too high appraisals. Maybe they used such tool...
