2009 is fast approaching us, and its time to step-back and make decisions on what you want to do during 2009.

So, what are your goals for 2009?

I've mentioned in detail my goals for 2009 here:

Both personal and professional: :gl:

1.) Shed 12 - 15 lbs.
2.) Crank up my runs and workouts at the gym!
3.) Closely watch the carbs and intake.
4.) Continue to consolidate domains ...
5.) ... and build (and better :$: monetize) more .COM websites!

6.) Work smarter, rest easier, and enjoy! :music:

All the best in 2009!

In 2009, I want to...
1) sell my first domain
2) finish coding and redesign my main site
3) Write my first really big script of incredible awesomeness
4) Learn to snowboard (just moved to a mountainous area)
5) There are several domains I want to develop.
6) Either get a job with computers or learn enough to be online for a living
7) Take the Lions to the Superbowl.... on Madden.
8) Try to get as many of my friends and family to relocate to the new area I'm living in.
9) Poop less, it's a waste of time... haha, get it? WASTE of time? *crickets*
10) Keep my lists shorter
11) Get a specific domain I've been wanting for most of 2008.

Per week - Develop at least one domain into some sort of mini site.

I, stay healthy and financially secure
II, continued professional success & growth
1, increase my attendance to the gym
2, continue to play racquetball tournaments
3, get motivated to build sites again (secondary/residual income)
4, get back home for a short visit
5, add a motorcycle to the fun part of life again
6, maybe revise the "must stay single at all costs" idea ---- ah, nm that! ;)

Wishing all of you a happy new year 2009!

M.

For 2009 I am thinking to just keep on working without a timetable in place :D

Only timetable I need is for taking a bath and doing some exercise.

The rest of the financial goals will be achieved automatically by the end of the year. :xf.love:

I'm saddened to see you're not investing in the highly brandable .Tel next year.

I'm hoping to launch my own company, can't give much details away. ;)

I listed my 10 resolutions a few days ago. :) I've even decided to blog about it to make sure I follow through. :)

A few of them:

- Read at least 1 book per month
- Work on punctuality!
- Socialize more on weekdays
- Get a practical hobby (I'm thinking of assembling my own mobile phone)

He who breaks a resolution is a weakling; He who makes one is a fool. ~F.M. Knowles

It's interesting to see how similar everyone's resolutions are. Mine include stop eating chocolate, go to the gym more, spend more time with family, etc.
And here I compared them with the most popular resolutions while sharing some interesting statistics on New Year's Resolutions.

Make sure to keep goals specific, measurable, and REALISTIC! :tu:

1. Write 15 minutes per day into my journal.
2. Read 1 book per week.
3. Get healthy (very specific goals which need not be mentioned in a public setting like this ;))
4. Yearly income goal :tu:

I agree. I don't think goals like "try to be a better person" or "stop spending too much" will get anyone anywhere. :D

Good luck with the resolutions everyone! :) I took mine seriously in 2008 and will take it seriously again this year.

For me resolution never worked but however I would love to increase my bank balance and networth. With that some rest and some well reputed websites with huge user base.

1. See what happens, react accordingly.

I'm not really in to the whole resolution thing; I use new year as a deadline for goals, not a starting point.
