In this thread everybody posted their TOP 10 non-premium, non-reserved landrush names. They are all English.

But what is the best NON-ENGLISH-LANDRUSH name?
Could anyone only post a top 5 this time?

Webecri, interesting subject. But, difficult to do such a list for me. Hoteles is above for me and then I saw many good ones...I would not place Fubol that high, because I don't know what will happen to fubol next to fúbol in the long term...IDN scarces me a bit with non-english names.

Yoyosean, sorry but I saw many IHMO better than these ones. Regarding countries for example, it's unbelievable that Schweiz (Switzerland in German, which is the most spoken language in the country) was not on the reserved list, but Mtld put by mistake SCHWEITZ which is closed to nothing except a typo in the reserved list and let register Schweiz...

invest in French is investir (without e)
For Holland (I mean the country, Holland is a region) in French, you should use Pays-Bas (literal translation for Netherlands)... It is still available, and yes, it is hyphenated Pays-Bas

I would not place Fubol that high, because I don't know what will happen to fubol next to fúbol in the long term...IDN scarces me a bit with non-english names. I think people are used to write with accents when using their phones....

In Spain they also use the word Futbol. I really think it is one of the best Spanisch names I have seen so far!

You are right. They do use it in Spain. OVT for futbol in Spain is indeed 40484 in November (not that impressive indeed, for example maquillaje (=makeup) that I managed to register in November-not to pretend it's near top 5- is .es OVT 76961). For sure, IMHO it's a very good name. I would not have hesitated a second to register it and I would buy for a reasonable price on the secondary market.

My point is Hoteles.mobi sold for $19500 in early pool auction. I guess it would certainly be a lot more now. It makes sense for mobile web. I would not be able to put that kind of money. But even if I had, would I put more for futbol? No, and one reason is because when IDNs come out, and in four or five years, would you prefer to have fútbol or futbol? I don't have this answer. Thus, I would be scared to put mid XX'XXX on a name which is not the absolutely exact version. (even if my interest would be to say the contrary since I have for exemple, poemes which miss the accent)

Now, regarding mobile web which has not taken off yet, it's certainly subjective and predictions. Btw, I am new to this and really like your portfolio; thus I really respect your opinion

fotograaf.mobi which in Dutch means- Photographer. My only .mobi non english mobi name, Like the other-photo names I will use it for my Panoramic Photos down the track!
