Antivirus company AVG got their avg.com through UDRP. Owner parked it using the most generic lander and generic keywords, but the majority of 3-members panel was of opinion that "Underneath the heading on the left of the page there was a list of links under an italicized heading โMainโ with the words โInternet Filteringโ, โFree Credit Reportโ, โInternet Content Filteringโ, โFamily Safe Internetโ, โFree Internet Filteringโ and โIdentity Theft Protectionโ. Linked pages advertised and provided links to websites of or advertising the Complainantโs competitors in the provision of software protecting against viruses, spyware and other electronic intrusions."
Panelists Jonathan Turner and Ross Carson ordered domain transfer - by majority. The third panelist - David E. Sorkin - issued dissenting opinion.
After reading this case, I decided to never purchase AVG antivirus and other their products, as I do not respect a company that does what they did
