What about ".ski" extension

Hello there,

There are plenty of GTLD domains and countless extensions are on the way. So, that makes us confused.

Could you share your opinions on the .ski extension? Do you think it's quite profitable to have 3/4 letter dictionary word .ski domain names? The words I am talking about, are not meaningless/random and are suitable to use with the extension.

I'd imagine the few keywords that are skiing-specific might me worth it, that's probably it though.

I think generic terms are a good buy. Skiing is super popular and growing (especially in asian markets). Jet.ski recently sold for 12K so people do see value in them.

Personally I'm not a huge fan of this extension, it's just too expensive to renew. The only profitible 3-4 letter dictionary words would be those related to the skiing industry, as finder17 mentioned. I picked up only one name in it, barefoot.ski, and it is over $40/year.

I think though it is a great domain hack for people of European descent (Polish, I think??) with last names ending in "ski", such as Polanski.

To me these keywords fit the extension and could attract buyers

Good point but did you know they are only $24.99 at name.com. Might make it worth more of an investment.
