WebNameSolution.com - Could be trouble?
I just got an email from a "company" called webnamesolution.com.
The email was basically SPAM to me as it had no contact info, just a cheesy sales pitch with a link to their shopping cart to buy a .COM domain (for which I own the .NET) for $50.00.
I checked the WHOIS and it said 'pending delete' so I thought I could not register it yet. However, GoDaddy let me register it. (So this whole time I'm thinking that you cannot reg a name until it has fully expired
).
I am guessing that he has sent this email to others (like the owners of the .INFO and the .US and so forth. My question is, if someone buys the domain from them, could there possibly be some trouble on my part given that I am NOW the owner of the domain?
BTW, the domain in the subject line is wrong. They are the singular, not the plural.
