Here are some tips for webmastering, IMPORTANT ones.

1. If you want a high traffic site, make a proxy sites or a bebo/myspace alternative.
2. Use all the proxy top sites as other sites use.

3. IF you want a forum, used shared hosting, if you want a proxy, get a small VPS.
4. On the VPS with the proxy sites, it will sometimes go down, to avoid this;

a. Open up php.ini
b. find memory_limit (3rd option below resource limits)
c. Set this to 1M

5. Your proxy will not crash, and it will be a great use for fraudsters to mask thier IP, and students to bypass annoying school/college filters to access bad content, and it will be worth a lot in the future.

My friend, tm owned it, he had it 2 weeks, and it already had a red flag saying 'danger, danger, server overload'

Sold for $200 to some guy on namepros.com

Then, 1 week later, it shows stats where it had used 25GB of bandwidth in 1 day, and was for sale for a BIN of $2000.

I do not know if it sold, but there is a load of dosh to be made, if you do it correct.

No, i was just telling you the truth. I do not support them, i am just suggesting who might use them.

this is a great tip also on the extra mod of php.ini thanks. yeah i guess sad to say you have to know majority of your users proxy sites usually are used by fraudsters to hide their ip while they send their spam or whatever. it's not the fault of the proxy site owner :imho: but usually it's for the purpose (I myself) being wanted to test my site is I used it before dns propagation mainly to see what it looks like on another.
