Web 2.0 community (Girls 15-25 years old)

Ok, so I have this project to make a community website for a target age of 15-25 years old girls but I have no idea were to start... if anyone can post link to similar website or have any experience doing a site of that type I'm open to any suggestion... I've done only drafts and I'm not really liking them so I'm open...

First, get a web design done and buy a hosting package if you dont currently have one. Maybe invest in VBulletin or some other forum software, I would also reccommend flashchat (search google). From there you should have the basic foundations of a website setup. Right down some features you may want and over time start implanting them (or pay someone else to do so). Good Luck!

I suggest you start with a good CMS like Joomla.
If you are interested in creating a forum then you can start with phpBB or Mybb.
