20 something year old was hitting on 3 11-13 year old girls
yesterday when I was at the library, this tall skinny black 26 year old guy was hitting on these 3 11-13year old persian and white girls. He was talking to them for like 15 minutes. and then he asks one of the girls for her number.
anyway I call those girls over, asking them if they know that guy. They said no and told me that guy is really weird, so anyway I called the monitor off the library, and the monitor told the girl to go across the street to the police station.

so anyway I think I have stopped a child pedophile.

Good job being proactive.....in these times people are so worried about being PC and offending others....i do not believe that is always a good thing.

Get in peoples business and help when u think....if it ends up wrong nicely apologize and explain.

ESPECIALLY WHEN IT COMES TO CHILDREN.

I own a business where people drive thru and buy beer....there have been times when parents have come through where i think they are drunk and have their kids in the car(i do not know forsure but better safe than sorry).....i do not care if i loose a customer i call the cops.....they have came back and been quite hostile but it is about helping people that sometimes cannot help themselves.

I don't condone paedophilia, but I don't see why people don't treat it as a 'mental illness' like a variety of other things. For one, being attracted to children is the same as the way people have 'fetishes', but society seems to think that if you find a child attractive you're a sick freak who should die a painful death, as opposed to someone who's attracted to urination who's perfectly normal. I remember watching a documentary (Or a news article?) about a man who was attracted to children, however he didn't ever harm them and would never think of doing it, however if you guys got your hands on him and had your way he'd be hung and left to rot.

It annoys me that people think paedophiles have a choice, it's the same way I don't have a choice whether or not I'm attracted to thin girls or fat girls, or whether a gay person is attracted to men. People should stop treating paedophiles as some sort of scum, but instead as a normal human being.

This is totally different from abusing children, I bet every single person here, when they were 19/20 was attracted to a 16/17 year old girl, that would make you a paedophile. People need to understand that being a paedophile is not a persons choice and the majority do not act upon their 'instincts' as it were. I want to find the video of the guy who talked about this from a first hand point of view, he couldn't help that he was attracted to children but he would never have acted upon it.

Society is also conditioning our children in a really bad way in regards to this, my younger brother and I were having a conversation a while back and he said something a long the lines of "...My PE teacher is a pervert, he looks at the girls...", everyone seems to be too over sensitive to this sort of thing, same with racism. People need to accept that paedophiles have no choice over their sexual disposition and unless they act upon it, they're equal to us. I bet there have been times you've given in to your own urge to do something, these people can't and I respect them more than any of you because of the self control they exercise, not for themselves, but for the children they're protecting.

I disagree entirely, there are people who're just overly friendly, you could quite easily destroy a persons life by claiming they're a paedophile, whether or not there is evidence. Just remember what you're doing.
