I'm supposed to create a web 2.0 site for my graduation project due in a few weeks and I already have an idea of what I want it to be...except that it has to be a "web 2.0" website.
My question is this: what makes a website 'web 2.0'?
So far, I believe site application, layout design, colour palette perhaps, etc. gives it this "web 2.0" feel. Have I missed anything out?
My supervisor believes that 100% ajax features would be good enough to make the site very web 2.0 but to be honest, I do like one or two ajax features but too much can be annoying (new Facebook layout anyone?)...does anyone agree with me?
I believe general aesthetics, simplicity and idea is key, but I'm not sure if that's enough to make the site a 'web 2.0' site.
