Water powered car...what is this?

i never know this thing even happened..but i came across this site: waterpoweredcar.com and i thought it was a joke...but than i saw the fox news clip they had...and found old newspapers with the autehntic news about him being poisened and stuff...what is this stuff? was this real? if so why isn't there anything being done? if his car worked...and all the guides on the website are scientifically correct...we should be running water powered cars now!! i mean it solves ALOT of the problems we have today ! [OIL!]
and it does make sense...how the car could work...water itself can't run the car...the engine has to seprate the hydrogen from water [H20] and hydrogen can create energy...while oxygen [the left over] is not deadly to the environment...
anyone ever came across the site? or saw the news when it was out ?

Water-Powered Car
For more than three decades now, Daniel Dingel has been claiming that his car can run with water as fuel. An article from the Philippine Daily Inquirer said that Dingle built his engine as early as 1969. Dingel built a car reactor that uses electricity from a 12-volt car battery to split the ordinary tap water into hydrogen and oxygen components. The hydrogen can then be used to power the car engine.

Dingel said that a number of foreign car companies have expressed interest in his invention. The officials of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) have dismissed Dingel's water-powered car as a hoax. In return, Dingel accused them of conspiring with oil producing countries. Dingel, however, was the not the only man on earth who is testing water as an alternative fuel. American inventors Rudolf Gunnerman and Stanley Meyer and the researchers of the U.S. Department of Energy's National Renewable Energy Laboratory have been pursuing similar experiments.

Water hydrogen has been around for a while, the principle of water hydrogen powered cars is not exactly news either. That inventors that aren't selling out magically disappear is almost to expect. We can start wars over oil, loose our own soldiers, not to mention the harm and destruction that we bring to other nations, ... in essence, nothing really surprises me anymore. The oil cartels are strong, rich and have zero ethics.
As long as it means bigger and better checks for the execs, one dead person or thousands of dead people are just a statistic.

There's a video somewhere on youtube that's reporting about water hydrogen powered cars being tested on an island right off Japan. The journalist that reported actually went back to what represents the exhaust, held a glass underneath, caught the "emission" and drank it. No cutting, no fading, just one fluid motion - either the cutting room guys are genius at what they're doing or the footage was real. I opt for real in this case.
I'm not sure what the current progress is in CA, where they supposedly begun to install Water Hydrogen fuel pumps at selected gas stations, etc.

Water hydrogen, amongst a few other developments such as the battery powered car that outperforms a Porsche in performance and lasts for 300 miles until having to "refuel" are in the very near future.

majority of gas and oil companies have huge money that speaks louder than investor who invented these type of alternative sources of power.

People do speak about it. But as long as it's conveniently swept "under the carpet" it's not mainstream. As we all know, the things that are truly interesting are who has a scandal with whom, who's banked the most in sports, who are the best singers, idols... it's all cozy. "Cozy" being the keyword. Change, especially change that's monumental, such as introducing an entirely new and environmentally safe way of transportation doesn't fit into the mainstream category. However, it did make WSJ news that Virgin Air introduced Biofuels on a Transatlantic Flight.
What would interest me though, how can we propel submarines and aircraft carriers with nuclear energy sources, or have minute nuclear batteries in pacemakers, yet we're not capable of harnessing energy of this type in safe way for other purposes, such as transportation?

I'd say it starts with Wikipedia, then drill down from there, you'll probably end up at mechanics, chemistry and physics sites that are most definitely WAY over my head. When i think back to Chem and Phys, i still just wanna scream :red:

If some steps are taken into this, then I don't think anyone can stop water powered cars from running on the road.

I think they are selling the step-by-step instructions (legit). Be careful though. I've heard of someone doing this and they tell very few people. Not unthinkable that the authories would confiscate the car claiming some bullshit about "safety concerns" if they get to hear what you're up to.

I've been watching some videos, including a BMW video where they actually test drive a 7-series that's Hydrogen fueled. They obviously produced 100 of these 7-series cars and handed them out to "decision makers".
What strikes me as odd here is the PR Director's statement: "The car won't be available for another approx. 20 years)

...and either disappear or end up with house shoes made of concrete, walking the Hudson River... I don't think that corporate America (and global) is ready for such an advancement. How nice it would be, though. No more $3.30 at the gas station or more than $6 back home in Austria.

The greedy Big oil and coal industries (along with corporate america's co-operation) control what we read and see on tv and elsewhere. The people are brainwashed into believing the dirty energy industry can never be replaced with clean alternative energy....at least not in our lifetimes. Unfortunately our president and his adminstration support these lies and have from day one of his election.

The truth is slowly but surely starting to be told. We will develop and impliment a new clean energy industry within most of our lifetimes and the world will be MUCH better off for it. Our clean energy will be produced primarily through the use of the sun and wind which will used to split the H2 from H2O and then used in fuelcells to produce electricity. Its certain to happen....its only a question of how long it will take....and the sooner, the better imho.

Nope, that'll do it. Though the 'moneyed' elite involve far more than Oil Companies. "They" have been sitting on knowledge for a very long time which could have changed our world. Nikola Teslas work would have allowed us all to have free electricity but they made sure we didn't get it.

Ever heard of Bruce L. Cathie? I consider him as important as Tesla for the 'energy' research he's done and I was surprised to find he was still alive. First read his work 25 years ago when he was being touted as a genius in the 'alternative science' underground. They've not completely buried his work yet - in fact there is a movie out shortly based on his research called "Antigravity". Took 10 years to have made because investment was not easy to come by. Too many people have too much to lose if the info becomes well known.

Cathie was a New Zealand pilot and during the wave of UFO sightings in the 50's he noticed they moved along a particular path. Nobody else seemed to notice that. Consequently, he come up with a completely new geometry based maths, and discovered the world "energy grid". I imagine it like ley lines but connecting points throughout the whole Universe. Free limitless energy goes along with it. Cathie believes it will come out soon, but I wouldn't bet my house on it.

It's quite interesting how he talks about most countries in the world being involved in this and Russia works closely with the US on this. Bit like the Stargate TV show, where one world view is believed by the public and a completely different reality is horded by a select few.
