Oh jeeze, looks like I MAY be infected with E Coli, who knows, LOL.

Anyways, there were traces of E Coli in our water system in spanaway, and they had to close all schools down in that area that used the spanaway water system.

They decided to close two school days.

Problem is, I was drinking the water, while watching the news and coughed out the water as the headline on the bottom said E Coli found in Spanaway Water System. I drank enough to go through my stomach =P

Ahh well,

I study Pharmacology so i know a little bit about this..

E. coli (Escherichia coli - im showing off now :hehe:) is naturally present in the large intestine. There are roughly 100 Billion E. coli bacterial cells in the body but this is non-virulent. However, there are only a few strains of E. coli that actually cause illness so if strains like O157 are present, they will cause illness but this is very rare. I bet they havent even checked if it does contain this strain or not. If it doesnt, the water will be harmless.

lol too bad th one in our systm is a virus strain, because most E Coli is a virus strain. The one in our intestines our a bit different, because they doa job in our large intestines, which don't really matter.

But everyone knows, when people cal out e coli, its dangerous haah.

We had an E.Coli outbreak here in Southern Ontario a few years ago.

It caused MAJOR political hoopla because the government had ignored testing to save $$$.

It sickened 2000 people and killed 7. Hopefully it's nothing like that in your city's case.
