This is warning. Network Solutions has taken $4.99 out of my PayPal Account without my permission. So anyone with a NetSol Account should watch their billings from NetSol. I just raised a support ticket. Does anyone have any idea what $4.99 might be for?

They have a hosting product that's $4.99 a month. So make sure its not a recurring charge.

Whois privacy is $9.99 so its probably not that

they and namesbeyond are the biggest headaches when it comes o things like changing whois info

I have reminders setup that the second 60 days hit, i get out of there, I dont care what the indian tells me on the phone, as long as they wont have a simple one page whois setup and a automated auth code system that company should be avoided at all costs

There is a lot of confusion over how many accounts I have at NetSol. But as far as I can tell I only have two accounts and both of them don't have any payment info set. All the other accounts have been merged into these two. There is no history of billing in these two accounts. This looks really suspicious to me. Still no response from my support ticket.

I only just started to use NetSol again recently. 1. To take advantage of a $0.50 new registration, when they charged me $34.99. 2. My SnapNames domains won. I have never ordered anything else from NetSol. After these experiences, I'm never going to use SnapNames (except for maybe pre-release) or NetSol again and I'm transferring all my domains out after 60 days.

The NetSol experience has always been a huge PITA. But what they are doing here is bordering on criminal, or maybe is criminal. And I'm expecting another PITA when trying to transfer out my domains :(

OK. I just checked my PayPal Account. NetSol had created a pre-approved payment in there, at the time of my bargain $34.99 domain registration. I just canceled that. If you pay NetSol by PayPal you should check your PayPal Account also.

As I've said. No response from NetSol yet. But it was a recurring payment of $4.99. johname suggested it was for hosting, and I think he's probably right.

So this $0.50 registration has turned into $34.99 + ($4.99 x 2) = $44.97 so far.
