Vuxen.com sold for $15,600

I've just checked this last week's Top 20 highest reported domain sales at DNJournal and one thing that caught my attention was Vuxen.com. It was sold for £10,000 ($15,600). On checking whois, it was newly registered on 2014/11/28 and was immediately purchased in less than a week. What a lucky day for this seller!

Do you have any brandable LLLLL.com to follow this sale?

often in these cases someone has a hot lead already from someone uneducated before registering the domain.. almost same unethical approach as selling domains owned by others..

ps: vuxen means adult in swedish..

I never use domaintools for whois mainly just Who.is , but that would have been a nice flip if that was the case for sure

try contacting the new Owner of vuxen.com if he is interested in getting yours as a mistype fallback, might still be worth $ 500-1000 to him depending on how generous he feels..

Also to add vuxn.se are available at regfee also .se kick .com's ass any day of the week in Sweden. You simple don't use .com in local sites.

For a Swedish porno site for the name itself they wouldn't pick that up even for regfee because it means nothing and you only got around 2 million Swedish porn users were most won't hang on a local site and above all not on a .com site. If the .se is not registered, Swedish keywords are not worth having. Even .nu are more used in Sweden than the .com.

But for all we know it could be whoever around the world who bought it. If a Swede bought just the domain it is a very bad deal for the buyer. You want Vuxet not Vuxen for porn and you want .se not .com. So guess it's not a Swede who bought it.
