    Hello fellow domainers,

Since my recent sale of complex.co and as American election day looms, it reminded me of a .vote domain I sold last year which I haven't made public ...until now!

    Mike2020.vote

I hand registered the domain in Nov 2019 for $30. It was an inbound sale, I was contacted by a Law Firm roughly a month later and the domain was sold for $10k.

    The highest selling .vote? :xf.cool:

Considering there have only ever been 2 reported .vote sales over $100 that is mightily impressive....

    Showing 1 to 2 of 2 entries

    Domain Price Date Venue

    democrat.vote 1,170 USD 2020-09-27 Afilias
    republican.vote 1,170 USD 2020-09-27 Afilias

Congratulations! Certainly seems an outlier sale for TLD, but great return for you from a quick flip.
I presume people have locked up the likely first names for 2024.
I don't personally invest in politician domains, but can see the right choices pay off.

PS Just noticed that @James Iles wrote a post on domains and the US election.

Well that didn’t work out well for Bloomberg but good on you.
