Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

I am in the process of putting together a sales pitch for a domain, and would like to add some information relating to recent Virtual Reality (VR) dot-com domain sales. I found this outdated information while searching online, not sure where or how else to search for the info? Any help is appreciated.

Welcome to the Forum.
Don't be offended. But I would not make comparison sales on valuations where you can not show the exact relationship in relevance to the name you are pitching. Being another VR name is not enough.
And in fact we have not seen enough VR name sales to even make a good general pitch for that.
Use that data to support the price when they do indeed want it, but think it is high priced.

If you are marketing to a company, your best bet is to spike their interest with marketing data that shows how that name will benefit them in real dollars. That is the largest interest to them. They have to want it before spending major $$$ for it. Give them a reason to want it or show them why the need it.

If you were selling your Chevy Corvette, would you tell the potential buyer how much other cars cost or would you tell them how fast this one would go.
Your going to tell them what this one will do for them. Sell first, price second.

Yes it is work, and hopefully you can make the point because the bottom line is the bottom line.
Nobody spends money without a expectation of ROI. You didn't. Why would they.
Fishing and Salesmanship... hook, line and sinker.

There is an expedition on the Everest at the moment i'm in contact with them, they are making a 360 movie on the top. There are now at 6000 and continu to climb. They post pictures of the expedition quiet everyday on twitter.

Well, i live in Switzerland at the moment so mountaineering lifestyle is also very present will make some videos from here in VR in June and will share them.

Got few domain that i would like to developp here like ZermattVR (amazing place), in VR it will be amazing to share because some place are just wow !! I allready made some pictures from the place i would like to film in 360°soon to test the Sphericam 2 (still waiting for it for more than a year), you can check on my Instagram how it look like here around
