Virtual Reality Domains (VR)

Spaceship Spaceship
Watch
Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Feel free to showcase your VR domains If you like...

Cheers

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Mine are also all from United States, I have it parked with SEDO; how do I find offer views?
Change your view: Custom overview
And then you can select what stats you want to see, chose Offer Views.

Sorry, I forgot, select custom overview, then customize your view on the right, and then you can chose whatever statistic you want.

Re: Traffic on domains, I've seen an increase, I think the best way to gauge if it's genuinely interested traffic is to assume anything from China/Russia is bot activity.

Exactly, all traffic from China and (near)Russia is probably referral spam.

Big jump on direct traffic for VR domains! From US mostly too, bounce rates on direct traffic are 100% so I think it's people looking for domain names in their browsers lol.

From yesterday, this traffic has been increasing :). This is direct traffic on one VR domain, my other VR domains have a similar bump in direct traffic too.

I think VR Helmets or VirtualRealityHelmets would have been better..Virtual Helmets has a very different meaning

Dont post it unless it comes to your account. Else if the previous owner sees this post he might just renew it..

I've got a few virtual domains with increased traffic as well, and all visitors are from the US. But as we discussed earlier, on Sedo, check Offer Views in Custom Overview, those are legit stats.

well.. correct me if I'm wrong, but going to the sedo offer views directly, only shows you people which go to sedo first, then go specifically to your domain for sale offer page.

this still does not have anyting to do with somebody potentially visiting your parked page because they were initially interested in domainX.com and therefore typed it into their browser window.

so while I am all against the automated or bot traffic sedo may bring to their parked pages, I beieve that parking your domains and viewing stats is still best way to go.

so for this reason, I recommend going to a company which shows realistic figures excluding bots or repeast visits etc. and from personal tests, among companies that have no special application requirements and accept any and all, I saw this to be BODIS.

hope this helps.

You're right. I forgot to mention that those are Sedo visitors.
My point was, better watch that stat than Uniques.

Yes, I do keep that in mind. I purchased it 9 days ago and went into my account 4 days ago.

I'm tracking all my domains with G analytics, I see all hehe.

EDIT: Except IPs., different tools for that ...

Ooops, how I missed that...

Shit.... Just reged the follow domains:

vrxgame dot com
vrxchat dot com
vrxdating dot com

Will the missing s and the VR in front be enough to be safe with the trademark "xgames"? Two differents with the trademark name.

well.. short of seeting up your own site wiuth accurate stats through some programming skil or what not.. I think prking is best way to go for stats.

however, like you, I completely do not agree with sedo parking and think that it very far from reality. due to god knows what.. bot visists.. I dunno. I just know that when I switched from sedo to bodis, my parking visits diminished I'd say.. five fold.

which to me is the more proper number.

sedo is great for many things. just not parking.

I highly recommend bodis.

fantastic interface top support and accurate stats.

VRiTV.com

Although I like it, I'd be very careful with this one "ITV" is trade marked to the hilts in numerous regions and specifically for internet/television broadcasting.

I think you're fine with the xgame as long as there isn't anything Xgames on the domain itself ... if you were to develop it you wouldn't be able to put anything Xgames related. Xgame could mean an adult entertainment game. You're good with that.

Cool domains too. Short, sweet and to the point for X rated themes.

I host all my domains myself and have my own landing pages on them with G analytics. Check out an example:

www.vrcue.com

This is my most visited VR domain currently followed by VRdeportes.com

But that means you have to have a server host for all your name to place the Analytics code. Which would be a lot of money in my case with 107 domains. Or did I missed something fundamental? I would do the same actually, since Sedo pays really low amount for parking...
