Virtual Reality Domains (VR)

Spaceship Spaceship
Watch
Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Feel free to showcase your VR domains If you like...

Cheers

VrDefloration makes sense, both linguistically and as a product. In adult the money is in the niches. Mainstream adult content is available for free everywhere and it's difficult to compete against. People with certain fetishes are willing to pay for content. That is why I think VrDefloration is a good name.

I'm not surprised that "syndicate" is used in more domains than "defloration". It would be pretty weird if it wasn't since its a mainstream word and the other is an adult sub genre. That doesn't mean that "vrsyndicate" is a product or service that is worth money. VrDefloration on the other hand has obvious potential.

Just my 2 cents.

Personally I haven't had an offer in a couple of months :(

I mean this with total respect, but you told us you haven't received an offer in a couple months. I'm receiving 1-2 inquiries/offers a day right now, none of which are on my best domains. One thing I have learnt in the last couple of years of doing this is, sometimes it's about ditching what you know and what you think you know and going with the stats, previous sales and trends. VRDefloration might be niche adult name that could sell to someone, but the stats say otherwise and when in doubt always go with the stats!

I want everyone here to do well and make money, but you need to be smart about it. It's okay to have some questionable domains, I have loads, but you need to at least have a few domains that will do very nicely. As I have said before countless times, it's a 5 year marathon, not a sprint. We still have another 3 years to go. Trim your questionable domains, renew your best. Good luck to all.

I own VRMedical.org, VRDoctor.org VRMedialcare.com & MedialcareVR.com the .org suits this extension IMO. I also work in the Healthcare industry and have known about VR development for a while in this sector including pharmacy :xf.smile:

You could probably sell them here on NP for $5-$20 each??? Better to try and sell them for something than just letting them drop IMO? (y)

Virtualcinematic doesn't roll off the lips like virtualfilmproduction. It's not pleasant. Lots of syllables. I had to work to hard to say it :)

I don't see virtualfilmproduction as a sought after brand identity but very useful for redirecting search for those terms. Mid xxx to low xxxx ?

I was thinking to go after halovr.com in the drops, till I checked for possible TM issues. Anyone else do IP research on it and decide as well that it wasn't worth the chance, or was I maybe being too cautious?

lol good one! I'm saying though. They ARE taken. and I do remember reading somewhere that Abbreviations if you "really must" go the TM route is...............fair game? but I await to be corrected.

Stay away from TM names, if ZTE is a new company in the industry, the chances are its a TM.

you'd be amazed at how many TM's combo'd with VR has been registered. I'm assuming they are all idiots then?

Absolutely right, they are all idiots, nobody looked into it or researched to see if they had value, its just new domainers registering names without doing any research. You will find most are a certain group of domainers who own 100's of TM names and now they wonder what the hell they are going to do with them, they all end up dropping.

They buy them thinking they will sell, check Sedo, Ebay etc and see how may TM names are there, and they sit there for sale and never sell, dont waste your money. Don't think because lots of people register TM names that they sell, they dont, its just naive people thinking the TM companies will come and offer them a huge wad of cash for them, they will just take it from you in court if they really want the name.

They ARE taken. and I do remember reading somewhere that Abbreviations if you "really must" go the TM route is...............fair game? but I await to be corrected.

Do you mean like IBM, CNN, CBS, NBC, KFC, IOC, BMW, AOL, ? Certainly not fair game :sneaky:

Not at all too cautious !~ there is a lot of potential conflicts with Halo for sure ! Or I would say the amount of restricted use would greatly diminish the value as to be not worth the time.
There are soo many alternatives to focus on.
Good job havin the discipline to pass it up
Cheers
