Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Feel free to showcase your VR domains If you like...

BLACKLISTED @ Sedo

As mentioned in a previous post I scooped Caterpillar VR.

Sedo Legal Dept. sent me an email this morning saying that they have blacklisted that domain from my account due to possible trademark infringement.

I have responded explaining that it has nothing to do with the "company" or construction equipment. But, that it is a virtual reality domain that could be used for a children's games site, or as an educational site showing the life cycle of a caterpillar to butterfly... or one of many orher possibilities....

Have to wait for the legal department to make up their mind on this one. UGH!

Lol I knew something like that would happen, its a very famous mark. Yes you can argue the animal card.

Really hope this works out for you. A very nice Domain if it does.

Just depends if they Registered Classes for the TM could be applied to Computer Games or VR. I'm not even sure the is a VR classification for TM's as such yet.

Ya.... I thought there might be a possibility that the "company" might have something to say. But, I'm surprised that Sedo did this on their own. Unless they didn't?

Regardless, my understanding is that trademarks only work within their own niche when it's a generic word... Sedo may have their own rules and protocols to follow though...which would means I would just throw up a website of my own.
