I won't go into details too much but I had to educate Godaddy support yesterday about what a domain push is.

It's insane when you think of it.

Godaddy, makes even the push process cumbersome...

True. I was without words when they literally asked me what a push is and if that's the same as a transfer.

I pointed them to their own FAQs and gave up... Luckily they do seem to hire some people with brains and understanding of the English language as today someone else fixed it.

I'm done with them.

If this collects all the rants and gripes in one place, thereby lightening up other threads, it is brilliant @Internet.Domains.

I try not to get too emotional, but I hate that there are not limits set on renewal cost increases in most TLDs.

Yes, that is exactly the intention. Will it work? I don't know, but like life in general, I remain optimistic.

I hate that there are not limits set on renewal cost increases in most TLDs.
I completely agree. It is one of the unknown variables that can literally decrease a domain's value overnight.

I mostly kick myself. For not having done that, for not doing this.. bla bla bla.. Ouch! Nice topic. When it comes to domaining, I have myself to blame 99% of the time.

Now that's a great example of taking responsibility!

I hate it when no one places even a single bid on my domains auctions, after I thought it was a cool name...and Flippa, really dont like Flippa.

Domainers afraid to appraise worthless names in case they get a dislike. Domainers that sugar coat weak appraisals enforcing false beliefs.

There are reg fee dot net adult domains offered for thousands that you wont sell for $5 and you don't know because your wanting thousands.

Why do domainers think they can even register a good adult name because I have only seen a few of any value in years for sale it is like they forget everything they know.

I hate that Michael Cyger sold DomainSherpa and that his replacement makes it almost unwatchable. I miss you Mike!

Responsibility comes mostly after self-blaming and identifying own mistakes while blaming others makes one find excuses and ignore own shortcomings and mistakes.

Ok, I am not angry. Because I want to make money, the rest is the collection, even if there is no INB, I hope that I can leave him to my children.

Just off the top of my head:

#1 - The fact there aren't 30 hours in a day

#2 - ICANN madness and some of the most dumbfounding decisions ever!

#3 - People who use my daily lists but don't use the affiliate links or even bother to click thanks/like.

#4 - Auction bots that click faster than me.

#5 - Auctions wins that are clawed back

#6 - Lack of a good auction platform.

#7 - People who refuse to listen to logic at NamePros and continue to post misinformation harmful to new domainers.

#8 - The fact my computer (actually a good one) can't handle my complex excel masterpieces!
#8a - Microsoft!

#9 - Platform bugs that are eternal.

#10 - People who place any importance on automated valuations on single domains (and I'm actually a happy client of Estibot .. lol)

.. and the list goes on ... lol ..

FYI .. @Michael Cyger didn't actually sell DomainSherpa .. he actually ended it to move on to other challenges (including DNAcademy) .. and then MediaOptions came in and bought it to keep it alive a few months after Mike closed it. Mike's a domain baller now .. small portfolio of top notch high-5 and 6 figure domains (with the exception of his unicorn .. on which he is probably riding off into the sunset .. lol)!
