I have the feeling I'm missing something about what's going on here. It is obviously normal for domain competition to increase over time. But what I am talking about, is a quite significant increase in the last 6 months or so. The same in closeouts. (And I'm not even touching the auctions...

There is a domain I wanted that the owner hasn't renewed that has expired last week (by chance I monitored the WHOIS for the past few weeks). It's not a valuable domain, but is just something I personally wanted. It also fulfills the requirements that I know Hugedomains/similar tend to scoop up...
