I'm very pleased to introduce VideoSearchScript Lite, a free offer from Paladin Systems. This is a pared down version of our VideoSearchScript Professional software.

You can test the admin functions on both demo sites by typing "admin:video" (no quotes) into either search bar. The admin links will appear at the bottom of the screen.
What is VSS Lite missing?
VSS Lite lacks the following features that VSS Pro offers:
- FFMPEG support (for pulling feeds from sites like YouTube, etc)
- No framed or embedded video viewing (all content indexed links out to the video provider's site)
- VSS Lite is not open source.
- VSS Lite does not come with technical support or upgrades of any kind.
- VSS Pro features a super-optimized cron, VSS Lite offers the cron at it's base.
While VSS Pro is obviously the better software, VSS Lite is still a great offering that is still a worthwhile download. And I'm confident that all you future VSS Lite users will be so impressed with the software that you'll be upgrading to Pro in no time :D
Why free? What's the catch?
There's no catch, but there are two very important conditions:
- You must have an account with us. Your account is created at the time of purchase (in this case download). This requirement keeps the software from being distributed beyond our control.
- You must display our full copyright notice at all times.
Of course, both of these protective measured are enforced via our licensing system. Failure to comply with either condition will automatically deactivate your ability to run the needed cron job.
