PalSys Introduces: VideoSearchScript

Hello folks! VideoSearchScript is now available! This has been a project long in the making, and we will be selling it from now on.

As this is a new product, we are offering an introductory price of $50! This includes a one domain license, and more importantly, lifetime support and upgrades. We have big things in store for this software, and new updates are just around the corner!

What is it?

VideoSearchScript is a content indexing script inspired by Heggle.com. It uses RSS feeds to index content (wether it be videos, games, images, etc - it's completely up to you!). The script includes a clean layout which is very easy to customize with little or no PHP experience. It uses a PHP/MySQL backbone. Although designed to update every hour, you can have the script update at any custom interval!

Administrative Features

- Make content searchable, not browsable (control what appears on home page)
- Delete unwanted content
- Enable/disable history feature

- Enable/disable guest comment posting
- Allow/deny guests to view comments
- Customize signup emails
- Approve, deny, edit, or delete RSS feeds
- Make a feed only show up when 18+ is enabled by user
- Mass email all users (newsletters, announcements, etc.)
- Manage users (view details, delete users)

Other Features

- Auto-index of content via RSS feeds
- Capable with not only videos, but virtually any other multimedia

Demonstration

You can test the admin panel in the demo by typing "admin:video" (without quotes) into the above or below search bar. This will give you administrative access. You can see further admin links at the bottom of the page after gaining access.

Given the facts as they stood in the thread you are referring to, and the fact that the original coders of that source have since given both myself and the coder in question written permission to have used the code as a base to any variation thereof, no, there is no need to take attention away from anything.

I'm going to let this thread die now, it really has very little to do with the product. 17 copies of VSS were sold to NP members, and I thank everyone for the purchases! The ffmpeg module we've promised will be released before the end of this month, so a new sale price will be made available then.

I kow the original programmer of the script (also a NPer).
I was talking with him for a custom version of this script.
He sold 100% resell rights to PalSys.
In fact he told me after his sale "first buy now the script from PalSys, and then I can do custom mods".
All the previous sales posts about this script are from him.
So maybe you like to review your comment.

We're hoping by the end of the month. All existing clients will be notified by email when the new download is available.

Is the ffmpeg module released yet? It's November 10th already.

As the post said, we were hoping for a release by the end of October. We have a couple of different coders working on this and one is proving a bit difficult to contact, so progress has been slower then I had hoped, but it's coming.
