When I can up with verdig, it was a combination of my name, my wife's name, and a potential business name. I had no clue that it could actually be a word in another language. It appears that verdig is a Norwegian word that means dignified, deserving, stately, and (especially) worthy. That's my understanding of this word. Thanks again for your help.

Maybe do some research on Scandinavian companies that the name meaning could apply and offer it around.

In denmark we spell it "værdig" (IDN), and means as you say worthy

In Sweden it is spelled "värdig" (IDN).
