How does one make vector images? I have been using photoshop for a long time now but all my images are ruined by resizing, how can i make them vector? Which software to use?

Those are all vector design programs. I use Adobe Illustrator CS and it works very well for me so I'd recommend that but they are all top quality programs.
You can create vector based paths in photoshop, although Photoshop is mainly a raster image program only. However, vector images can be made. You're best option is too get Illustrator as mentioned.
If you only have photoshop grab some tutorials on the Pen Tool for photoshop. That should get you started into vector. :yell:
The standard vector formats are .ai, .eps, and .dxf. Just make sure you export all of your images in one of those formats so you could use it in other vector software, like Illustrator, if you needed to.
Adobe Illustrator is what I have heard is a favorite for most designers. I can never seem how to use it. My friend took a course for it at his college and now he is a pro. So I guess that is a good program, but a little difficult to use.
I have tried using photoshop to save my graphics in an eps format but when i reopen the saved image in eps format, it only opens a blank canvas, what is this?
