Hello are Vanity domain name good? Which one is better starting with 1800 or 1866? If you register a Vanity domain name would it make sense to get the phone number too?

if it actually goes with 1-800 number of the business, it would compliment it.

Definitely... otherwise what's point owning the domain only ?

1800 since that is more universally known. and yes it would make sense, but the domain of the actual company name would make better sense. so whatever the name was, minus the 800.

if it's taken, paying the premium to most domainers is an issue. but how can we expect to sell domains to end-users if we don't want to be the buyer of them ourselves. just bc someone is making a profit off you doesn't mean your getting a bad deal

Agreed. It would be defeating purposes to own 1800goodguy.com if you didn't have the number 1-800-GOOD-GUY

If i remember right i already asked it somewhere here on forum.

Remember or research how long Vanity numbers can be !!!!

It dont make sense to have 1800ThisIsMyVanitySomething.com if you can only get an 1800ThisIsMy [cut] from Phone Company.
