Vanity Domain Names

Has anyone sold (or bought for themselves) a 'cool' domain name to be used as a personalized 'vanity' email address?
I can see a small market for many consumers as their email address becomes their virtual identity-I believe this in a relatively under-explored niche of end-users.
Vanity license plates still exist.

VainDomain(s), VanityName(s), VanityDomain(s) .com were already registered.

I have. I bought my mum's last name .com for her to use as her work e-mail address. It's more memorable for her student's parents to use. Given as most of her communication is via e-mail it made a lot of sense.

If you set it up with GoogleApps you can have all the benefits of gmail as your email backend but all your mail still comes from your own domain. I think there could be a little business in setting this up for people.

I consider ImaSupermodel(.)com(purchased for resale) a Vanity name albeit sorta long- I was thinking the same thing
