Hi,
First posting as new member. I ran accross an auction on ebay for the domain; usoilprices.com. The guy had a buy it now price of $250,000, but would entertain offers over $10,000. I thought that was a great name, and ran a who is search for usoilprices.info, since everyone seems to want info on the high oil prices. It was available, as was usgasprices.info, so I bought em both.
What do you think? Also, what is the best way to market names like these.
Thanks for your input.
Tommy

Yeah, infos dont go as much as coms, that's a given... But I like it and I think you could really sprout something with it.

Its a nice name but asking 10K for a info is way too much, you m8ight get 2-5 hundred for this name as it is a good name in term of search keywords.

I'm not thinking $10K, $200-500 isn't bad for an $8.00 investment. As somone mentioned, good words for search. Maybe a good adsense name.

Thanks for your input. I'll be watching for more.

I don't think the average Joe cares about "us oil prices". They're more interested in "gas prices". That's what they'll look for first.

I think the majority of people looking for oil prices will be those interested in stocks or futures trading, and even then they'll be looking for "oil prices" and not "us oil prices".

Just my 2 cents.

Hello,

10,000 is way too much... i think the max you can get ( my opinion ) is around 500-600 ..
