Rememberance.com

Have received offers for this name fairly regularly over the last couple years, have a couple now again and am considering selling the name. Most inquiries have been for either greeting cards or memorial sites. Traffic hasn't been monitored as the name was intended for the Lingerie shop of the same name that the better half ran. Creation date was prior to the whois date marked by Network Solutions as they changed it when it was transferred.

One word dictionary com with some commercial appeal.

What do you guys think I should accept as a price?
Thanks for your input.

Is it just me or is that a typo... I believe it is "remembrance" not "rememberance"

Reg free, sorry.
Unless of course it gets traffic or something

The word should be spelled "Remembrance". I canโ€™t say I would hold out for too much with this name.

If you are receiving inquires and offers, it must have value to someone. Without a buyer also aquiring remembrance.com, the commercial potential is stunted. Because of the alternate spelling issue, I'd agree with slaughterbeck and not hold out for too much. Let the negotiations take you where they may, whether that's $1k or $10k+. If a buyer approaches you though, I def wouldn't go less than $1k final price.

Wow. I guess that's why asking for advice in the forum here is a good idea. The alternative spelling and absense in dictionary.com is a surprise to me. Google shows "Results 1 - 10 of about 269,000 for rememberance" Results are also found in relation to poems, quotes, cards etc. Sites use it as in "Rememberances of Dubai" etc.

Those making offers could have it wrong as well, but I don't think so. The Lingerie shop has existed for 22 years under "Rememberance" at the Dartmouth College town of Hanover NH. You'd think the Ivy League patrons there would insist on the correction and stop buying wouldn't you? Anyway, maybe some of the offers are working on a typo idea? Don't care as long as they buy the sucka (got that spelled wrong too me thinks)

Hey I was just told that the way it's spelled (Rememberance vs Remembrance)was more widely used in Europe, and that the shop was upper class dealing in mostly imported lingerie. Sounds like that makes sense. Can I get any input on that theory?
