I have just noticed this Google ad a few minutes ago on Namepros:

It did get me interested to click his ad though, so maybe it is his promotion strategy.

Anyone here has tried promoting domains using AdWords?

might be a good way to get even more exposure for really top end domains but for a domain like that i dont think any amount of adwords spending is going to sell it for the amount being asked there

im sure i heard about an NP member who previously used adwords to send traffic to his sedo for sale page of a domain he owned

lol only $9538 for fub0l.com ?! There are so many people in this business living in another reality. How the hell is a domain that is not only a typo/mispelled but also uses a zero in place of an o a premium name, or worth more than $nothing? Reality check...

I thought about that a couple days ago. I did a google search for 'fight'- 358,000,000 results and not one ad came up (1 came up today). I thought since not many people outside domaining might know about w-o-r-d-s even being available to buy it might be worth a try. It wouldn't be that expensive per click for this great keyword as no one is competing. I might just test F-I-G-H-T and see how it goes. BTW does anyone know if you can send people to your parking page with adwords? Might have to contact parked first and ask just to be safe.
