Millers, I am a deer caught in headlights. I don't know how I missed this one! If you just got this for reg fee that is incredible. One of the best regs I have seen on the board in awhile. I hope you do something with it. Used Boats is a huge market. I have said it before and will say it again, not all PREMIUMS are with Enom, many are floating around for reg fee and this is an example of one, imo. Good luck. You have come a long way from your early days of regging, lol.

Only problem I see is that when I looked a buying a used RV, it was almost impossible to get people to email pictures. Almost like talking a foreign language when talking to people about email and especially emailing pictures... "Digital Camera?-Oh, I don't have one of those fancy things." "Email a picture?-Oh, i barely know how to check my email."

Got to keep in mind, there are still ALOT of people that don't know much about how any of this works, especially the boomer+ group that has the money. ANYTHING that simplfies and makes it easier, this group will pay for. So, when looking at these as a business model, make sure you know the target market and their level of knowledge coupled with expenditure potential.

This type of model could be pretty easy to capitalize and monetize; MOST people have a video camera and know how to use it. Almost Nobody knows how to convert to a uploadable file and upload to a site. Getting them to create a video of their Boat or RV (usedrvs.tv james) and send the tape in for the company to handle the tech end is a model they could grasp. Marketing by the visuals they can grasp, and they have the money to pay for the service. This is not a clone youtube approach, but an actual business model. By doing a clone youtube approach IMO would not work. At some point down the road, a user generated AND uploaded model could work in this genre, but will need the asistance of better software and more ingrained internet knowldge by the users.

Good reg Millers I cannot say I think it as great as SKG does but its nice. The .com
www.usedboats.com Developed site. There are a lot of good regs around depends on your niche too. Like Local Experts I think has a highly evolved plan which makes tanning salon much better in his hands then just a pure speculator IMO

Just regged names with as much or better Google results with " B Movies which I held off on for over a year - SpringTraining.tv and MudWrestling.tv Mudwrestling has only about 470,000 results but have a quick dev plan

Good Luck with it Millers you could make it a social networking site for boat owners kind of a Myspace for boat owners who want to interact with like minded people

I hear you WB....

RVS though is a more mature market age wise......but Boats, tap in used boats in google and see how many working wwebsites pop up dedicated to used boats and has video images of them........tons!!!

And the boat crowd has alot alot of young folks too..rich and poor alike, yachts, speedboats and small fishing boats + loads more......so the download model is definately working...and will only get more popular with the advance of time....

Think how maany 60 year olds , even 65 years old were internet users in 1999 and jump forward to today.

Yesterday I went to a library in Surprise AZ - it has about 100 computers, at least 50% looked over the age of 50 and 20% between 55 to 65 (yes, I just happened to take notice yesterday at the ages of these people on the internet and thought wow...!!) YOUTUBE right now is in the 12 - 35 age group predominantly, but there are alot of 25 - 35 year olds owning boats of some sort, so I see this as a big arket now....and will only grow bigger still.

Thanks Eq, Namewaiter and Sanch for your feedback.....

Nice registration. It has an obvoius use, high demand and a hot extension this year. So I think it was a good registration.
