Just wanted to let you all know that I've got KidNews.tv up for auction now at Sedo. This would be a great opportunity for an online children's news channel, or similar kids information site. As I'm sure you OVT trackers know, "news" is a HUGE keyword (1,000,000+ OVT), but additionally, "kid" has 500,000+ OVT, and "kid news" itself has 4,000+ OVT! Seriously, though, sounds like a good name. How do .TV supporters feel in general about names that have "tv" before the ".tv," though? Just curious...I haven't been keeping up with the .tv trends lately.

On an unrelated note, I just sold "lawmaker.tv" at TDNAM -- for a final bid of $20. I thought it might have gone for more, but I suppose TDNAM isn't the best place to draw attention to an auction....

End users take time- and sometimes you sell to them thinking they are a reseller! They are very elusive! Ive sold an end user name to Motorola for $150 at Sedo For all you know it was the enduser who bid $70 and no one bid against them.

As long as regfee was not too much its still a profit! To avoid $70 sales I would set my minimum bid higher. :D

Yes, the thought did occur to me that for all I know it is an end user, but I think I did most of my attempted contacting after that bid was placed. Guess I'll just have to see what happens with it in the months to come.

As for the minimum bid, it's sort of a toss-up, I think -- you're right, that I'd be more likely to get a satisfactory price for it with a higher minimum, but a lower price might get the bidding moving along a little quicker, and the more bids that are placed, the more interest it sparks, etc.

No problem, though...as you said, I'm happy to have made a profit, no matter the size.
