It appears the domain industry has been starting to take notice of the .us namespace over the past year, read DnJournal.com .us growth and Namepros with even greater expectations for the year to come.

So I thought it would be a good idea to ask everyone to show us your .us domain names. You can post your favorites or your entire portfolio.

looks like a lot is going on with .us this year.
Firstly people complained about how neustar manages it, well looks like new owners will be taking over soon.
Secondly people complained about privacy, soon that will be an option.
Premium pricing coming soon that should not affect existing registrants, right?

.US is the united States cctld, majority of websites use the extension and know it as a local cctld. A small minority use the cctld as a hack yet neustar is advertising on Google promoting the hack uses instead of its primary purpose as a local cctld to promote local businesses. SMH

People have cried saying if only they were around in the 90's they would have seen and taken advantage of the opportunities to acquire valuable domains.
Opportunities happen all the time, unfortunately if you can't think for yourself then you will never be at the forefront and only see opportunities lost.
Believe what you believe not what others want you to believe.
If your in this business and can't think for yourself then you are a pawn in the domain game.

Just added WinterSolstice.us to my portfolio will be adding a website there soon to countdown to the days until Winter Solstice it will be something similar to my developed Easter.us

Will update you guys when the site is up and running in the near future.

Appreciate all the positive feedback I received on the newly developed Easter.us - on a side note to all dot US domains developed can and will rank very well in search engines in Bing/Yahoo Easter.us ranks very high (first page) for numerous keyword terms including Easter 2017, Easter Sunday, When is Easter Sunday, When is Easter 2017, etc. etc. etc. Site should be doing very well in the upcoming weeks already has a ton of traffic.

why waste time buying up trademarked names , for instance .. (STLBLUES,STLRAMS,ETC,ETC....

came across some .us domains I was hoping to reg ..... most are owned by people outside the united states . does anybody actually work at .us / neustar . of course I reported them , if someone actually does their job & strip the domain owner of them I might be adding a few to my .us collection . maybe I should be working at neustar ,lol.

I have about 25 LLL, and have sold between $600- $2000 (SWB.us). Also have ones that make sense with a .US like upscale cities, or CORRECTIONS.US, which could be used for seeing if someone is incarcerated (2 million people are in the police state.), arranging sending money to prisoner's accounts, criminal background searches for employers, etc.

Ha ha ha. i know what you mean,but its a latent but potent extension. America is the richest or 2nd richest nation on earth and purchasing power affects domain prices heavily so in as much i agree that .US doesn't seem "alive", good .us names still have potential.

There are many misconceptions in domaining. The fundamentals say good .US domains are good investments, the lay man's opinion is the .US is dead(kind of like .net!). which side do you believe? :D

HELLOOOOOOOO , everytime I want ( ok , almost everytime ) I want to register a .us domain I find it's registered to someone outside the united states . does anybody at neustar follow up when you contact them ? ,lol.......... does anyone from neustar ever check out namepros .us thread ? neustar has to come up with a better way so people with foreign addresses cant register a .us domain , you telling me they cant do that ? or is it that they just don't care .

Is it supposed to be restricted? Personally, I don't want more countries to start doing verifications and disallowing foreigners from buying domains.

Also, I don't think that many regular, non-domaining, people think of .us as being for USA. They all assume that .com is theirs.
