It appears the domain industry has been starting to take notice of the .us namespace over the past year, read DnJournal.com .us growth and Namepros with even greater expectations for the year to come.

So I thought it would be a good idea to ask everyone to show us your .us domain names. You can post your favorites or your entire portfolio.

Thanks. Can you PM me the list? I have a lot of those names on my wacth list in my tdnam account, but I might have missed a few.

I didn't want to get in a bidding war with anyone so I bought one name after it hit the buy now. I used a coupon and brought the price down from $29.95 to $23.95 (or 23.99). Funny how a couple of years ago I paid XXX for LLL and NNN domains and now I wouldn't even pay $23.95 for one.

Over all, I wasn't iimpressed with the names or what they sold for.

I think BestHotels is the best of the lot, despite its two words. It was a BIN buy.

Domainmonster. They are pretty good at catching .us, and they don't charge unless they are successful.

Moreover, if you place a successful backorder, you get the domain outright--no auction.

veet.us

Saw a commercial on TV for a "hair removal" product called Veet. I don't think I had seen it mentioned here before. They are advertising and operating on veet.us but they own the .com as well. The .com is used for international redirects.

They are also advertising the veet.us url in google searches for veet even though veet.com is #1. Veet.us is #5 but it doesn't appear to either be frequently indexed or well SEO'd as the description of the veet.us site indicates that it's got problems with it's robots.txt

Well the last few days have been very busy with 2002 landrush drops. Today @ Snap was the day where the vast majority of these auctions ended. Bidding was very active for several of the better terms.

I will post a list of .US I picked up as soon as the domains are transferred to me.
